RAMADAN RELIEF: Maryjoe Foundation puts smiles on 20 orphanage homes in Ibadan 

The Maryjoe Humanitarian Foundation has made a significant donation to support orphanage homes in Ibadan, Oyo State, just in time for the upcoming Ramadan and Lenten periods. The foundation, which is dedicated to empowering neglected children, distressed women, and impoverished families ,distributed food items to 20 selected motherless homes.

The packages, which included bags of rice, noodles, semovita, and others, were handed over to the beneficiaries at the Social Development and Staff Training Centre in Samonda, Ibadan. The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including the State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Hon. (Mrs) Toyin Balogun, and the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives, Hon. Niyi Adebisi, member representing Saki West State Constituency at Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Shittu Ibrahim.

The foundation’s gesture was praised by Hon. (Mrs) Toyin Balogun, who described it as a reflection of true spirit of compassion, kindness, and inclusivity.

The Oyo State government, under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde, has also prioritized the welfare of orphans and vulnerable children, committing to policies and programmes that promote social inclusion, child welfare, and sustainable support systems.

The Maryjoe Humanitarian Foundation has promised to continue investing in initiatives that uplift individuals and create opportunities for the less privileged. Some of the beneficiary orphanage homes include OYIZA orphanage home, Mercy of God Home, FOMAN, and Dorcas Adunola Oyediji motherless home, among others.
