“As we observe the holy month of Ramadan, let us not forget the less privileged, vulnerable, and marginalized. Let us extend kindness, generosity, and empathy towards them, and make a positive impact in their lives.”
While highlighting the significance of Ramadan as a period of spiritual growth, self-reflection, and devotion to Allah, he urged Muslims especially those from his immediate constituency to pray for Nigeria’s unity and stability and emphasized the importance of collective well-being and the role of faith in promoting peace and justice
“Ramadan is indeed a time for spiritual rejuvenation, self-discipline, and generosity. It’s a period when Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, engage in acts of charity, and strengthen their connection with Allah. By doing so, they cultivate virtues like empathy, compassion, and humility”
