Saki leaders commend Makinde on appointments, urge speedy renaming of MAC Polytechnic

The concerned people of Saki ,particularly the political stakeholdes, have commended the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde for recent appointments that reflect the diversity and talent of the state’s citizens including three prominent citizens of the area who were promoted through rank and file .

In a statement made available to this newspaper on Tuesday by the Chairman, Oyo State Pensions Board, Hon. Rafiu Adekunle, described the move as a significant step towards inclusive governance, commitment to service and representation.

“The people of Saki township have every reason to be thrilled with Governor Seyi Makinde’s recent appointments. The governor has demonstrated his commitment to inclusivity and representation by appointing indigenes of Saki township as permanent secretaries and tutor general.

The appointments are also a reflection of the governor’s merit-based approach, as he has emphasized that the selections were made based on qualification and merit “.

The Governor’s office has announced the appointment of several individuals from various backgrounds to key positions, including permanent secretaries among are three prominent sons of Saki community.
