Support Tinubu For Better Nigeria Oyo State Chapter Opens 2027 Campaign,Sets 500,000 Voter Target for Tinubu & other APC candidates in the state

The Oyo State chapter of Support Tinubu for Better Nigeria 2027 held its first physical meeting of the “Support Tinubu for Better Nigeria 2027” campaign at the Aviation Hall, SDM Tarvern Hotel, Total Garden, Ibadan, gathering senior party officials, patrons, and grassroots delegates from across the state.

In his welcome address, Elder David Oluokun (State Coordinator) underscored the critical role of grassroots mobilization for broader reach. He called on every member to register online or via the distributed physical forms and reaffirmed the group’s commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in 2027. Oyo State’s voter‑mobilization target of 500,000 registered supporters was highlighted, noting only 200 members have registered so far, yet expressing strong confidence of achieving 100 % delivery and securing 90 % of Oyo votes for Tinubu and other APC candidates. He stressed unity, collaboration, and dedication among party members, while requesting logistics and material support from the National Body to strengthen operations.

“Grassroots mobilization is the backbone of our reach; every member must register online or through the forms we’ve handed out. We’re committed to President Tinubu’s 2027 victory, targeting 500,000 registered supporters, with 90 % of Oyo votes in sight.”, Oluokun said.

In his remarks,Hon Hamzat Ogunsola highlighted Elder David Oluokun’s steadfast commitment and his ability to convey the movement’s goals clearly, expressing appreciation for his leadership.

Prince Niran Adeyoju ( SDM) expressed appreciation for members’ hard work, dedication, and contributions from the 2019 elections up to the present. He affirmed that his mission is the collective progress of all party members and explained the role of the Peace Advocates Group, which was formed to support current leaders, promote inclusion, and broaden participation. He underscored the aim of securing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re‑election in 2027 and ensuring success for other APC candidates in Oyo State.

“Our mission is the collective progress of every member, and the Peace Advocates Group exists to support our leaders, foster inclusion, and ensure wider participation toward Tinubu’s 2027 re‑election and APC victories across Oyo State.”

Hon. Dr. Babatunde Olokun (National Organizing Secretary, from Ogun State) re‑emphasized the need for inclusion at both national and state levels. He thanked attendees for their punctuality and commitment, and announced that the movement now enjoys a strong presence in Aso Rock with full support from Asiwaju. He urged all Local Government Areas to complete membership registration and noted that Oyo State stands as the first recognized zonal office ,a credit to Prince Niran Adeyoju ’s efforts.

“Inclusion at both national and state levels remains our priority; we now have a solid foothold in Aso Rock, backed fully by Asiwaju. Let every LGA complete registration Oyo’s first zonal office status, thanks to Prince Niran Adeyoju ( SDM) , shows what teamwork can achieve.”

Prof. Olu Aderounmu (Global Director‑General) reiterated his mission to ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu secures a second term and to support Nigeria’s return to robust economic foundations, drawing inspiration from Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s model. He announced that he is currently writing a book dedicated to President Tinubu—now at Chapter 11, with a launch slated for the end of June. He also proposed strategic visits to the South‑East, South‑South, and Northern zones before the 2027 election, emphasizing that the movement now operates at a presidential level of influence.

“My mission is clear: a second term for President Tinubu, a revival of Awolowo’s economic vision, and a book that honors his leadership .Chapter 11 in progress, launch by June. We will reach the South‑East, South‑South, and North before 2027, operating now at a presidential sphere of influence.”

The event drew a strong turnout of party leadership and grassroots delegates including Prof. Olu Aderounmu,Prince Niran Adeyoju(SDM) ,Elder David Oluokun,Engr. Adewale Adeoye,Hon. Hamzat Ogunsola,Alhaji Teslim Aderibigbe( Ghandi) ,Alhaji (Chief) Adebayo Haruna,Hon. Dr. Babatunde Olokun,Chief Mrs. Zainab Ali‑Kangiwa,Hon. Fatai Abdulsallam,Chief Mrs. Esther Ojo,and Chief Mrs. Esther Okemakinde

Others are Representatives from Oyo, Oke‑Ogun, Ibarapa, Iseyin, Ogbomoso, and Ibadan, alongside zonal leaders, state executive members, and coordinators from Ogun and Osun states, participated to ensure comprehensive regional representation.

Support Tinubu For Better Nigeria ,Oyo State Chapter is registered at the party’s National and State Secretariats and backed by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who is the National patron.
