Former Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ayobami Ojo, has expressed elation over the approval for the construction of the 72 Mobile Force Squadron Base, Ago-Are by the Oyo State Government.
Ojo, who hailed the Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, over the approval by the state’s Executive Council, said the people of Ago-Are community and Atisbo Local Government were grateful to the governor.
According to Ojo, a lawyer and businessman, Governor Makinde has proven beyond doubt that his commitment to securing the state is top-notch and the approval for the construction of the Mobile Police Base would further enhance security in the state.
The former lawmaker equally lauded the governor for approving the construction of the Igboho-Kisi Road, the Ido-Akufo-Eruwa Road and the 12MW Independent Power Plant, among others.
He maintained that Governor Makinde has continued to show fidelity to the people of Oyo State, proving time and again that he can never be distracted from the business of governance, saying that the planned projects would, no doubt, further uplift the state.
“On behalf of the good people of Ago-Are and Atisbo Local Government, I appreciate the Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for approving the construction of the Mobile Police Force Base in Ago-Are.
“The people of Oke Ogun are joyous and excited for having a governor who believes in the even development of Oyo State and has done everything to ensure that no zone is left behind.
“We recall with happiness how the governor fought for the siting of the Mobile Police Base in Ago-Are. He has now capped the effort up with the approval for the construction of the Base.
“Governor Makinde has demonstrated that he is a governor for all zones. We appreciate him for everything he has done in Oke Ogun, especially on these latest approvals to construct the Mobile Police Force Base in Ago-Are and the Kisi-Igboho Road, among others.”
