The National Association of Saki Elites, Abuja Branch, has extended warm congratulations to two distinguished individuals , Prof. Jacob Babayemi and Dr. Kareem Olarewaju Popoola who have been appointed to key positions at the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology (FUNATO), Okeho.
Professor Jacob has been appointed as the founding Vice Chancellor of FUNATO, and the association believes his extensive background and wealth of experience make him an ideal candidate to lead the institution to greatness. “Given your extensive background and wealth of experience, the association believes that your appointment marks a significant and positive direction for the university,” said the association.
The association also urged Professor Jacob to prioritize inclusivity in appointing principal officers, ensuring representation from diverse backgrounds within the Oke Ogun region. “You are expected to ensure that the interests of other towns are protected without compromising merit and other necessary standards,” said the association.
In a separate statement signed by its President, Kehinde Mustapha, and made available to this newspaper by PRO, Aloyinlapa Shuaib, the National Association of Saki Elites also congratulated Dr. Kareem Olarewaju Popoola on his appointment as the first Bursar of FUNATO. The association praised Dr. Popoola’s exceptional qualities, developed over the years, as the reason behind his appointment. “As a seasoned chartered accountant, academic, and administrator, the Association is confident that you will leverage your valuable experience and expertise in financial management to enhance the institution’s financial strength,” said the association.
