2024 Eid-el-Maulud: Guber hopeful,Agbaje urges Muslims to emulate Muhammad’s exemplary legacy

Renowned lawyer and gubernatorial hopeful, Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, has urged Nigerian Muslims to embrace peace and unity.

In a statement made available to this newspaper on Monday to commemorate the 2024 Eid-el-Maulud, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Agbaje, said Muslims globally and in Nigeria need to tolerate other religious adherents.

“I join millions worldwide in wishing our Muslim brothers and sisters in Oyo State, Nigeria, and globally a Happy Maolud Nabiy.

I encourage Nigerians, particularly Muslims in Oyo State, to utilize this occasion to strengthen their bonds and contribute to a better society by rejecting divisive tendencies that threaten national unity and stability”

“Let us continue to pray and work towards peace in our community, state, and nation. Let us strive to eschew violence and promote democratic values”
