Senator Sharafadeen Alli has said his administration would place strong emphasis on education and other key sectors of the economy if elected governor of Oyo State in 2027.
Speaking on his policy direction, Alli stressed that the state’s education system and broader economic sectors require urgent and sustained attention to drive development and improve living standards.
“The education and other sectors of the economy in the state need serious attention. This will be the main focus of my administration if afforded the opportunity to fly the flag of the party and subsequently win the governorship election in 2027,” he said.
He noted that reforms in education would form the cornerstone of his proposed administration, alongside interventions aimed at strengthening governance structures and improving performance across critical areas of the state economy.
The statement comes amid growing political activity in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 general elections, as aspirants begin to outline their visions and seek support within party structures.
Alli, a serving senator representing Oyo State, is among the political figures already signaling interest in the governorship race as preparations for the next election cycle gather momentum.
