As political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, attention is increasingly shifting to the quality of representation that residents of Saki East/ATISBO State Constituency want in the next Oyo State House of Assembly.
Against this backdrop, the campaign organisation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the constituency, Alhaji Hon. Alliu Tajudeen Adetunji (JP), has called on voters to support what it described as a new chapter of purposeful and responsive representation.
In a statement signed by the Saki East/ATISBO APC Media Team, the group said the constituency needed a representative with grassroots experience, political understanding and the capacity to effectively articulate the interests of the people at the state legislature.
The group described Adetunji as an experienced grassroots politician who understands the challenges confronting communities across Saki East and Atisbo and is prepared to provide what it called “purposeful leadership” if elected in 2027.
According to the statement, the constituency requires a representative who would not only speak on behalf of the people but also listen to their concerns and pursue practical solutions to issues affecting their communities.
The campaign team said the 2027 election should be about choosing competence, accountability and service rather than making promises without corresponding action.
It urged voters to consider Adetunji’s political experience and grassroots connections, arguing that these qualities would enable him to provide effective representation in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The group further appealed to APC supporters and residents of Saki East/ATISBO to rally behind the party’s candidate, declaring that “the time for Alliu is now.”
The statement described Adetunji’s campaign as a movement centred on experience, courage and service to the people.
