Adeleke Intensifies Consultations for Oyo Reps Seat,Meets Ajimobi; Shittu

A House of Representatives aspirant for the Saki West, Saki East and ATISBO Federal Constituency in Oyo State, Aishat Aliyu Adeleke,has intensified her political consultations with key stakeholders in Lagos and Ibadan, as momentum builds around her ambition to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.

As part of the outreach, Adeleke met with former First Lady of Oyo State, Florence Ajimobi, describing the visit as a strategic engagement with a respected leader and role model. She noted that the discussion was both insightful and productive, contributing to her broader efforts to foster dialogue and consolidate support across political and social blocs.

In a separate visit to Ibadan, the aspirant paid a courtesy call on former Minister of Communications, Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu. Adeleke, who referred to Shittu as a father figure, said the meeting provided her with valuable guidance and encouragement as she advances her campaign.

She expressed gratitude for what she described as the former minister’s “wealth of experience, wisdom, and fatherly advice,” adding that the interaction had strengthened her resolve to pursue inclusive and effective representation.

“These consultations are critical as I continue to engage leaders and stakeholders toward building a shared vision for our constituency,” Adeleke said.

The aspirant emphasized her commitment to grassroots development and equitable representation, pledging that her leadership would prioritize inclusivity across Saki West, Saki East and ATISBO.

“Our mission remains clear: no community will be left behind, and no voice will be unheard,” she stated.

Adeleke, founder of the Aisat Aliu Adeleke Foundation, concluded by reaffirming her readiness for public office, declaring her intention to deliver responsive and people-centered leadership if elected.
