The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Saki-East and Atisbo State Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Tajudeen Alliu, has joined the party’s Oyo State governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli (BSA), and other APC candidates on a consultation tour of Saki-East Local Government Area ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The consultation visit was aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structures, consolidating its relationship with the electorate and engaging critical stakeholders on issues relating to community development and the political future of Oyo State.
During the tour, Alliu, Alli and other party candidates held consultations with community stakeholders, traditional rulers, religious leaders and APC members across the local government area.
The engagement provided an opportunity for the candidates to listen to the concerns and expectations of the people, exchange views on matters of public interest and reaffirm their commitment to inclusive leadership and grassroots development.
The candidates also used the occasion to solicit support for APC candidates across the board, urging party members and residents to rally behind Alli’s governorship ambition and other candidates seeking elective offices under the party’s platform.
They emphasised the importance of unity, cohesion and sustained grassroots mobilisation as the APC intensifies efforts to strengthen its political base across the Old Ifedapo Federal Constituency ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Alliu and other party stakeholders reiterated their commitment to consolidating the APC’s presence in Saki-East and Atisbo, while pledging to sustain engagements with community leaders and residents in pursuit of the party’s electoral objectives.
The APC candidate, Hon. Alhaji Tajudeen Alliu, also expressed profound appreciation to the traditional rulers, religious leaders, community stakeholders and party members who welcomed the delegation and participated in the consultation exercise.
He commended their warm reception, cooperation and continued support for the party, describing their participation as a demonstration of the importance of sustained engagement between political leaders and the grassroots.
