APC Candidate Urges Tede Residents to Back Party Candidates in 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Saki East/Atisbo State Constituency, Alhaji Alliu Tajudeen , has urged members of Ajo Omo Tede Parapo to sustain peace and unity in the community for its continued development.

Alliu made the appeal on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, when he attended the association’s annual general meeting alongside the APC flag bearer for Saki East, Saki West and Atisbo Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abisodun Kareem Were.

Speaking at the event, Alliu commended members of the association for sustaining its legacy for 74 years, describing the longevity of the organisation as a testament to the commitment of its members.

He urged them to continue to promote peace, unity and development in Tede, stressing the importance of collective efforts in advancing the interests of the community.

The APC candidate also appealed to members of the association to support the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections, from the presidential candidate to the senatorial, House of Representatives, governorship and House of Assembly candidates.

Alliu assured the gathering that, if elected with their support, the interests of Tede community and the entire Atisbo Local Government Area would receive attention in government programmes and development initiatives.

The leadership of Ajo Omo Tede Parapo expressed appreciation to Adetunji and Kareem for attending the AGM, describing their presence as an honour to the association.

The association subsequently requested the Chief Imam of Tede land to offer special prayers for the two politicians, seeking Allah’s guidance, protection and success in their political endeavours.

The annual general meeting brought together members of Ajo Omo Tede Parapo to deliberate on matters concerning the association and the development of Tede community.
