The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally presented a Certificate of Nomination to Hon. Alliu Tajudeen Adetunji as its candidate for the Saki East/ATISBO State Constituency in the 2027 Oyo State House of Assembly election.
The certificate was presented to Adetunji on Friday, September 4, 2026, by the state APC Chairman, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, at the party’s state secretariat, 176A Obafemi Awolowo Way, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
The presentation was witnessed by major stakeholders of the party in Oyo State, signalling the party’s formal recognition of Adetunji as its standard-bearer for the constituency.
The certificate, signed by Adeyemo as state chairman and Barrister Fatai Adeshina as state secretary, states that Adetunji “was duly nominated as the official candidate” of the APC to contest the State House of Assembly seat for the Saki/ATISBO constituency in the 2027 election.
The development effectively marks another phase in the political preparations ahead of the 2027 general election, with the APC expected to commence further mobilisation and engagement with stakeholders and residents across the constituency.
Alliu is expected to build on the party’s structures and grassroots network across Saki East and ATISBO LGS as the election approaches.
