The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Saki West State Constituency seat in the 2027 Oyo State House of Assembly election, Hon. Kabeer Adebayo Salaudeen, alongside other party leaders in Saki West LGA, on Thursday hosted the party’s governorship candidate in Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, as part of his statewide appreciation and grassroots mobilisation tour ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The visit brought together party executives, ward leaders, women and youth groups, as well as other stakeholders, who reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the APM’s structures across the local government.
Addressing party faithful, Salaudeen described Adekanmbi’s visit as a demonstration of the party’s resolve to remain connected with its grassroots supporters. He urged members to sustain the momentum by intensifying mobilisation efforts, recruiting new members and encouraging eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
He stressed that unity, discipline and unwavering commitment would be indispensable to the party’s success in the 2027 elections, noting that the APM was steadily consolidating its presence across Oyo State.
“Our strength lies in our unity and our ability to reach every community, every ward and every polling unit. If we remain focused and committed to our shared vision, the party will record resounding victories in 2027,” Salaudeen said.
The Assembly hopeful also cautioned members against being distracted by political developments in rival parties, maintaining that the APM remained committed to providing purposeful leadership and people-oriented governance.
He expressed appreciation to party members for their loyalty, resilience and unwavering support, assuring them that their sacrifices and confidence in the party would not be taken for granted.
