The Deputy Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Sayo Fatoki, has assured party members in ATISBO LGA that, the state leadership is committed to resolving lingering issues within the party and strengthening its internal cohesion.
Fatoki gave the assurance while delivering a message on behalf of the Oyo State APC Chairman, Otinba Alake Adeyemo,at a stakeholders’ meeting held in Tede.
He said the state chairman had pledged to find lasting solutions to challenges confronting the party and commended members for their dedication and impressive turnout at the meeting despite prevailing difficulties.
The APC youth leader also dismissed concerns over the growing profile of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), insisting that the party does not pose a threat to the APC’s dominance in the state.
According to him, the APC remains a formidable political platform with well-established leadership structures, strong grassroots support, and guiding principles that have sustained its relevance over the years.
Fatoki urged party members and supporters to accord due respect to party leaders and avoid actions capable of undermining the party’s unity and hierarchy.
He cautioned members against taking unilateral actions or making statements that could further deepen divisions within the party, stressing that established channels exist for addressing grievances.
“If any member has concerns or disagreements with party leaders, such issues should be resolved through dialogue and engagement rather than public confrontations,” he said.
He further warned against allowing external forces to interfere in the affairs of the APC in Atisbo Local Government, emphasizing the need for members to remain united and protect the party’s structures from undue influence.
Fatoki reiterated the commitment of the state leadership to fostering reconciliation and ensuring that the APC remains focused on its objectives ahead of future political engagements.
