I Want to Serve My People,J. West Declares Reps Ambition, Obtains nomination form

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Azeez Jimoh, popularly known as J. West, has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives.

Jimoh confirmed on Sunday that he has obtained both the nomination and expression of interest forms to represent the people of Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly.

Speaking shortly after completing the process, the APC stalwart said his decision was driven by a desire to serve his constituents and contribute meaningfully to legislative development at the national level.

“I have taken this step to serve the good people of Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo in the best capacity possible,” he said. “This is about providing effective representation and ensuring that the voices of our people are heard.”

With this move, Jimoh joins a growing list of aspirants within the ruling party who are jostling for the same ticket ahead of the forthcoming elections, setting the stage for what is expected to be a competitive primary contest.
