Independence Day: ADC candidate, Adeak urges Nigerians not to lose hope

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Saki West State Constituency, Hon. Shuarau Abdul Hakeem Adeak, has urged Nigerians not to lose hope in the country despite the economic hardship, insecurity, unemployment and hunger confronting the nation.

Adeak, in an Independence Day message issued on Thursday to mark Nigeria’s 66th anniversary, said the country would overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger.

He said the 66 years of independence had demonstrated the resilience of Nigerians, stressing that the country’s best days were still ahead.

The ADC candidate said his party represented hope and a credible alternative to the existing political order, with emphasis on fresh ideas, youth inclusion and grassroots development.

According to him, the ADC was committed to rebuilding the country from the grassroots rather than recycling what he described as failed leadership.

He said, “To every Nigerian losing hope, I say: Do not give up on Nigeria. Help is coming. The ADC is coming to rescue and rebuild.”

Adeak urged Nigerians to use the Independence Day celebration to renew their faith in the country and work towards building a better Oyo State and a greater Nigeria.

He also extended his goodwill to the people of Saki West and members of the ADC, calling for unity and renewed commitment to the development of the constituency, the state and the country.

He prayed for the progress of Saki West, Oyo State and Nigeria, while wishing Nigerians a peaceful and meaningful 66th Independence Anniversary.
