Koleosho lived a purpose driven life , Adebayo Shittu mourns

A former minister of communications, Barr. Adebayo Shittu, has described the demise of the late Michael Adeniyi Koleosho as loss of a leader par excellence who came ,saw and conquered.

In a condolences message on Tuesday, preserves his developmental legacies in business, politics and communal efforts.

The message reads as follows:

“Too bad, is the least words to describe the most unfortunate but inevitable death of, perhaps, the most prominent indigene of my home-town, Shaki. At the ripe age of 86, and with very successful career in business, politics and community service, our late father and elder statesman has carved a nich for himself. Indeed, he has left a legacy yet unmatched by any other person in Oke Ogun area of Oyo State.

“He started as a Councillor in the then Ifedapo Local Government Council. In 1979, he and my humble self contested election into the then Oyo State House of Assembly to represent Constituency 2 and 1 respectively. Shortly after our resumption as Legislators, he was appointed as the Hon. Commissioner for establishment and Training, and then the Hon. Commissioner for Works and Transport by the late Gov. Bola Ige. His age long enterprising spirit made him the largest land owner in Shaki today.

He would definitely be missed by most people across Oyo State. My prayer is that almighty Allah may give all of us the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss”
