Joy of the people of Iseyin land knew no bound as prominent leaders across Nigeria converged on the ancient town to celebrate two sons of the soil , former CJN Justice Kayode Ariwoola and legal luminary, Barrister Ahmed Raji SAN at the commissioning of an ulta modern mosque built at the LAUTECH satellite campus, faculty of Agriculture and Renewable source, Iseyin.

The edifice named after the former CJN Olukayode Ariwoola was built at the institution by Barrister Ahmed Raji SAN in recognition of his meritorious service to the nation.
The epoch event, held under the auspices of the Sultan of Sokoto, ably represented by the Emir from Gombe, Engr Sale Muhammad Mai Katung, (OON) and the Aseyin of Iseyin, His Majesty Oba Sefiu Olawale Ajirotutu 1. The event also had in attendance Academic Scholars from LAUTECH, led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Olatunde Kalilu, political bigwigs, captains of industry and religious leaders among others.
In their separate remarks, the Chief Justice of Nigeria,( CJN )Justice Kudirat Kekereekun, representative of sultan and the vice chancellor, LAUTECH, showered encomium on the duo of Justice Ariwoola and Barrister Raji for their immense contributions to humanity and the country at large.
Justice Kudirat commended the legal icons, the Aseyin of Iseyin and the entire people of Iseyin for their hospitality.
She also applauded Barrister Raji for naming the edifice after Justice Ariwoola in recognition of his meritorious service to the nation.
According to her, such gesture is a testimony to justice Ariwoola’s contribution to the Nigerian judiciary.
The Vice Chancellor Lautech, in his views said the mosque is not just an edifice but a vision of scholarship and spirituality that will inspire great achievement.
Earlier in his welcome speech, Barrister Raji said the mosque named after former CJN will serve as a bridge to connect him to his creator and also to pave the way for his aljannah.
Quoting from the holy Quran, Barrister Raji opined that every living soul shall taste death one day, hence the need to prepare for hereafter.
Former CJN Olukayode Ariwoola while speaking urged the people present to always pray for Barrister Raji in appreciation of his good deeds and philanthropic gestures towards the less privileged in the society.
Former CJN stressed need for the rich to uplift the less privileged.
The event also witnessed the opening of other two mosques built by Barrister Ahmed Raji and the commissioning of a hotel named ‘Oke Ogun Gateway Hotel’.
At the occasion were Senator Abdul Fatai Buhari,Prof. Adeolu Akande among others.
