Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM), Convener of the Oyo State APC Peace Advocates, has joined prominent leaders across the country to celebrate the birthday of Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli (BSA), representing Oyo South Senatorial District.
In a tribute released Monday in Ibadan by The publicity secretary Elder David Oluokun, Prince Adeyoju described the Distinguished Senator as a “beacon of political stability” and a “master strategist” whose contributions have significantly reshaped governance and party unity in Oyo State.
Adeyoju traced the Senator’s storied career, noting his unique transition from a grassroots leader as the first elected Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government (1991) to his current national prominence. He lauded Alli’s service as Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, and Chairman of Odu’a Investment Company, where he oversaw landmark projects like Heritage and Cocoa Malls.
”Senator Alli represents the perfect blend of traditional heritage and modern governance,” Adeyoju remarked, referring to the Senator’s role as the Ekarun Balogun of Ibadanland. “His PhD in Legislative and Strategic Studies is evident in how he navigates complex national issues with precision.”
The statement highlighted Senator Alli’s current impact as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters and his membership in the ECOWAS Parliament. Adeyoju specifically pointed to Alli’s advocacy for ecological funding to mitigate flooding in Oyo State and his drive to establish a Federal Medical Centre in his district as evidence of people-centered representation.
”Distinguished Senator Alli is not just representing Oyo South; he is advocating for the future of our people. From borehole projects to his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda, he has proven to be a dependable ally of progress,” Adeyoju stated.
Beyond the Senate chambers, Prince Adeyoju commended the BSA Foundation for its extensive community development initiatives, which continue to provide relief and empowerment to the vulnerable.
As Senator Alli celebrates this milestone, the APC Peace Advocates Convener prayed for continued wisdom and strength. He urged the Senator to remain steadfast in his efforts to unite the APC in Oyo State, describing him as a “pivotal force” for the party’s future successes.
”On this special day, we celebrate a leader who leads with integrity and empathy. Happy birthday to the Omoluabi of Oyo South,” the statement concluded.
Born on April 20, 1963, Senator Alli is a PhD holder in Legislative and Strategic Studies. A legal practitioner called to the Bar in 1987, he currently represents Oyo South in the Nigerian Senate and holds the traditional title of Ekarun Balogun of Ibadanland.
