Oyo APC Reconciliation Committee Moves to Resolve Grievances Ahead of 2027

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Reconciliation Committee in Oyo State, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, has said the committee is working to resolve grievances arising from the party’s recent primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Lanlehin said the committee had commenced consultations with aggrieved members and aspirants, assuring that the reconciliation efforts would continue until outstanding concerns were addressed.

He disclosed that the committee’s recent meeting with the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and members of the National Working Committee was fruitful, with the party’s national leadership expected to consider issues raised by affected aspirants.

The former senator stressed the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding in resolving internal disagreements, saying the reconciliation process was aimed at strengthening cohesion within the Oyo APC.

Lanlehin urged party leaders, stakeholders and aspirants to put the collective interest of the party above individual grievances, noting that unity would be critical to the APC’s prospects in the 2027 elections.

He said a united APC would be better positioned to regain political control in Oyo State, calling on all members to support ongoing efforts to rebuild trust and consolidate the party’s structures across the state.
