Rafiu Adekunle felicitates with Okere of Saki on 5th anniversary on the throne of his forebears

The Chairman of Pensions Board in Oyo State and former minority leader at the state house of assembly, Hon. Rafiu Adekunle, has sent his heartfelt congratulations to the Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisi on the occasion of his 5th anniversary on the throne of his forebears.

In a statement released to the press, the Board’s Henchman praised the monarch for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the development of his kingdom. He noted that the monarch’s reign has been marked by significant achievements, including the promotion of peace, stability, and economic development.

“Congratulations to HRM Oba Khalid Olabisi Oyeniyi Oyedepo 111 on his 5-year anniversary as the 31st Okere of Saki Land in Oyo State, Nigeria. This milestone marks a significant achievement in his reign, and I’m sure the people of Saki Land are grateful for his leadership.

As the paramount ruler of Oke-Ogun and vice chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas, Oba Khalid Olabisi Oyeniyi has demonstrated outstanding qualities and philanthropic work, earning him recognition and accolades, including an honorary Doctorate award from the Institut Superieur Bilingue Libre du Togo (IBLT)”

Adekunle also commended the monarch for his efforts in preserving the cultural heritage and traditions of his kingdom, and for his role in promoting unity and cooperation among his people, prayed fervently to live longer on the throne of his forefathers.

“Under his leadership, Saki Land has continued to grow and develop, with a rich history and culture that dates back centuries . The town is known for its agricultural produce, including cotton, swamp rice, and tobacco, as well as its traditional crafts, such as aluminum pot-making and cotton weaving.

Once again, congratulations to HRM Oba Khalid Olabisi Oyeniyi on this significant milestone! May his reign continue to bring prosperity and peace to the people of Saki Land”
