Y.Y. Muslim Picks APC Nomination Forms for Ifedapo Federal Constituency Race

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Y.Y. Muslim, has formally entered the race to represent Ifedapo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives after picking up the party’s expression of interest and nomination forms.

Dr. Muslim, who enjoys support among party faithfuls across the constituency, said his decision followed sustained calls from stakeholders and residents of the area, comprising Saki West, Saki East, and Atisbo local government areas.

Announcing his intention, the aspirant described the move as a response to what he termed a collective demand for “quality and purposeful representation” at the federal level. He noted that encouragement from APC members and the wider community played a significant role in his decision to contest.

“The call has been answered,” he declared, assuring constituents that his ambition is rooted in service and commitment to the welfare of the people.

Dr. Muslim appealed for the backing of party members and eligible voters across the constituency, pledging not to disappoint if given the mandate. He emphasized that his candidacy is driven by a desire to serve humanity and address pressing developmental needs within the federal constituency.

The Ifedapo Federal Constituency seat, which covers parts of Oyo State, is expected to be keenly contested in the coming electoral cycle.
