Agbaje Picks Nomination Form as Oyo Guber Race Heats Up

A former local government chairman in Oyo State ,Hon. James Adeleke, a notable grassroots politician, has picked up the governorship nomination form on behalf of his political principal, Barr. Akeem Agbaje.

Speaking shortly after obtaining the form, Adeleke described Agbaje as a capable leader with the vision and experience required to steer Oyo State toward greater development. He emphasized the need for continuity in governance, improved infrastructure, and policies that would directly impact the welfare of citizens.

Supporters of the aspirant have already begun expressing optimism about his chances, with many describing him as the “incoming governor” in anticipation of the polls. However, the race is expected to be competitive, with several other aspirants also positioning themselves for the party ticket under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

So far, five aspirants have obtained nomination forms to contest for the APC governorship ticket in Oyo State. They include Sen. Sarafadeen Alli, Engr. Akeem Alao, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem, Chief Adebayo Waheed Adelabu, and Barr. Akeem Agbaje.
