A prominent chieftain of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Alhaji Sarafadeen Abiola Onijo, Esq., has donated a branded campaign vehicle to support the party’s presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The vehicle was unveiled on Sunday during a post-Ileya get-together hosted by the legal practitioner at Isale-Taba, Saki, in Oyo State.
Speaking at the event, Onijo urged residents and eligible voters to support the APM and its candidates at all levels, including the party’s presidential candidate, Governor Seyi Makinde, expressing confidence that the party would emerge victorious in the 2027 elections.
According to him, his decision to provide the campaign vehicle was driven by his conviction that the APM candidates possess the competence and leadership qualities required to move the country forward.
Speaking with journalists at the gathering, Onijo said: “It is simply out of my conviction that Seyi Makinde and other candidates of the party are the best among all the 2027 presidential hopefuls.
“Without sounding immodest, His Excellency Seyi Makinde and other APM candidates are tested and trusted leaders who have the capacity to take our dear nation, Nigeria, to the destination we all desire.”
The donation is expected to strengthen grassroots mobilization efforts for the party across Oyo State and beyond as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
Also speaking at the event, the APM candidate for Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Niyi Adebisi, said his manifesto would be unveiled in the coming weeks, assuring constituents that it would demonstrate his readiness and capacity to provide purposeful representation.
Adebisi pledged to prioritize sustainable development and people-oriented policies if elected, stressing that his campaign would focus on practical solutions rather than political rhetoric.
“My manifesto, which will be made public soon, will speak volumes about my capacity to lead. If elected, I will champion development and deliver tangible dividends of democracy that go beyond quick-win approaches,” he said.
Similarly, the party’s candidate for Saki West State Constituency, Hon. Salaudeen Kabir, assured supporters that the APM would conduct an issue-based campaign anchored on ideas and developmental agendas.
Kabir said the party would avoid propaganda, blackmail and divisive politics, emphasizing the need for a healthy democratic process driven by constructive engagement and policy discussions.
The event attracted party members, supporters and community leaders from across the Saki area, who pledged continued support for the APM ahead of the 2027 elections.
