The political head of Asabari LCDA (Saki) , Prince Kolade Ojo ,has sympathised with the people of Agolabi/Oge/ Baabo areas over the recent flood disaster in the area.
Ojo,led by a delegation of the council area and visits the area on Saturday to sympathise with the victims and inspects the affected area as well as farmlands.

Mr Ojo describes the disaster as ‘terrible’, saying, “This is very sad to see hundreds of people without shelter because of the flood disaster.
“We are going to present our report to government and other stakeholders with a view of assisting the victims.”
He assures that the government would do everything possible to provide assistance to the victims.
“As quickly as possible, we are going to compile the report we gathered here today. I believe G
government would be ever ready to support victims of this disaster.”
He calls on them to be patient, adding that more interventions would be provided to the victims.
He says that the council would set up a committee to ascertain the level of damages and the number of victims.
“This is very sad to see thousands of people without shelter because of the flood disaster,” he said.
