Itesiwaju LG chairman, Olayemi hails Makinde,charges new Secretary to be a team player

The newly sworn in secretary, Itesiwaju Local Government Area, Hon. Abdul azeez Muhammad Sefiu Alade has been charged to be a good team player with dedication to duty in order to achieve the needed transformation in the council area.

The admonition was part of remarks made by the council chairman, Itesiwaju local government, Hon. Ojo Monsuru Olayemi during the swearing in ceremony of the council secretary.

Olayemi, while commending the state governor, Seyi Makinde for his uncommon character and ingenuity in piloting the affairs of the state, eulogises him for appointing credible and competent personality as the secretary of the council in person of TP Abdulazeez Mohammadu Sefiu Alade.

He reiterates that , the career officers are partners in progress, whose efforts can make or mar any administration and urges the newly sworn in secretary to work in tandem with career officers.

The event, which was held at the council secretariat, Otu had in attendance of top government officials,PDP executives, party leaders and other well wishers.

The LG boss appeals to the newly sworn in secretary to see his appointment as a clarion call to serve the people of Itesiwaju Local Government and not a particular section or a particular town of the council.

He stresses that the appointment of Alhaji Abdul Azeez, Alade is an indication of the level of trust and confidence people have in him, he therefore admonished him not to betray people’s trust.
According to him, the newly sworn in secretary should bring to bear his wealth of experience as a technocrat with clear vision and innovation to move the council forward.

The council boss admonishes the secretary to ensure that he use his office for the growth and development of the people of the council for him to carve his name in gold like late sage Obafemi Awolowo, Uncle Bola Ige and Chief Lateef Jakande of blessed memories after leaving office.
Hon Olayemi also highlighted salient issues that can hinder the success of the administration and urged the council secretary to respect the sanctity of togetherness.

Among the party leaders who graced the occasion were the Leader of the House Hon. Soliu Mutairu, Chief of staff Hon Ogunlade Adewale,Hon Joshua Oyewumi Adegbiji,Dr Lateef Ajibike,Mrs Fabiyi Folashade and Deputy Director of Administration and General Services Mr Felix Onatunji who administered oath of office to the council secretary on behalf of the council head of local government ,NSCDC corps and NOA among others.
