The Chairman of ATISBO LGA of Oyo State, Alhaji Bashir Olumuyiwa Alade, will on Thursday, September 10, host the Acting Governor of the state, Barrister Abdulraheem Bayo Lawal, for the commissioning of several completed development projects in the local government.

The working visit, themed β€œA Day of Impact, A Journey of Development,” is part of efforts by the ATISBO council administration to improve infrastructure and enhance the welfare of residents.

According to the programme released by the local government, the commissioning activities will begin at 10am in Baasi, where the acting governor is expected to inaugurate a police post and a motorised borehole.

The entourage will thereafter proceed to Ago-Are for the commissioning of a perimeter fence at Kraal Market, aimed at improving security and the organisation of commercial activities.

Also scheduled for commissioning is a 12-unit shopping complex designed to provide additional trading spaces and stimulate economic activities in the community.

Other projects listed include a Nireage project in Ago-Are, as well as the distribution of relief materials and cash grants to residents of ATISBO Local Government.

The projects cover key areas, including security, water supply, commerce and basic infrastructure, with the council describing them as interventions designed to have direct impact on residents.

Alade is expected to receive the acting governor and other government officials during the working visit.
