The Nikkah ceremony of Ustaz Ilyas Oloko, son of renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh AbdulRofiu Jamiu Oloko, and Hajia Mansurat Adewunmi, drew a galaxy of dignitaries to Saki.
Among the notable guests were Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, representing Oyo North Senatorial District, and former Deputy Governor Engr. Remi Olaniyan. Col. Gbenga Adegbola also graced the occasion.
The Okere of Sakiland, Oba Khalid Olabisi, was represented by the Bagii of Saki, HC Abdrosheed Adegoke, Olugbo of Igbojaye, Oba Zacheus Oladimeji Olatunji Alobaloke II,Eleyinpo of Ipapo, Oba Yekini Ademola Abioye II, HC Apeeki of Saki, while the Ajorinwin of Irawo, Oba Musiliudeen Olalere, was also in attendance.
Sheikh Abdulah Akanni Olohun Lomerue Amirul ithad, a renowned Islamic scholar from Osun State, has offered valuable advice to newlywed couples. Speaking at a wedding ceremony, he emphasized the importance of tolerance, understanding, and submission in marriage.
Specifically, he counseled the bride to be submissive to her husband, emphasizing the importance of seeking her husband’s support and approval before embarking on any significant activities. The Sheikh warned against waywardness and advised the bride not to place undue burdens on her husband beyond his capabilities.
In his lecture, Sheikh Abdafeez Aloyinlapa emphasized the importance of mutual respect and love in marriage, advising the couple to build their relationship on these core values.
The ceremony was attended by family members, friends, and well-wishers, who came together to celebrate the union of Ustaz Ilyas Oloko and Hajia Mansurat Adewunmi.
