…urges Nigerians to promote peace and love
As Christians around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Hon. Busari Yakub otherwise called Donbay has felicitated with Nigerians, urging them to use the occasion to promote love, peace, and unity.
In a statement issued on Christmas Eve, Yakub ,a chieftain of APC , extended warm greetings to Christians in Nigeria and around the world.
“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I urge all Nigerians to use this occasion to promote love, peace, and unity,” he said.
“Christmas is a time for forgiveness, reconciliation, and renewal, and I pray that we will all imbibe these values as we celebrate.”
He also called on Nigerians especially the good people of his constituency to remember the less privileged and vulnerable members of society during the celebrations.
“As we celebrate, let us not forget the widows, orphans, and the less privileged among us,” he said. “Let us show them love, kindness, and generosity, just as our Lord Jesus Christ taught us.”
He used the occasion to appeal to Nigerians to continue to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity in the country.
“As we celebrate Christmas, let us continue to pray for our country, that God will grant us peace, stability, and prosperity,” he said.
Donbay’s felicitation is seen as a gesture of goodwill and a call to unity among Nigerians, as the country celebrates the Christmas season.
