Saki, Oyo State, has lost one of its prominent political figures, Alh. Raheem Durojaye, who died at the age of 84.
Durojaye, a respected political leader from Ogidigbo area,Saki and revered head of the Ajibise family, was known for his influence, wisdom and commitment to the development and unity of his people.
He was recently celebrated by associates and political followers on the occasion of his 83rd birthday.
In a tribute marking the milestone, Durojaye was described as a “beacon of wisdom and leadership” and a political father and mentor whose integrity, selflessness and vision had impacted generations.
His death is expected to be widely mourned by members of his family, political associates, community leaders and residents of Saki.
