A former aspirant for the Saki West State Constituency seat, Surv. Prince Badmus Yinusa Adepoju (PhD), has donated food items and cash to members of the Allied Peoples Movement in Ward 08, Oke-Sebe, Saki, Oyo State.
Adepoju made the donation during a surprise visit to the ward on Sunday, where he also appealed to party members to remain united despite their grievances ahead of the forthcoming elections.
He urged the members to put their differences aside and work together for the success of the party, stressing the need for unity among members.
Speaking during the visit, the Ward 08 chairman, Hon. Lateef Ayilara, expressed appreciation for the gesture, saying it had been decades since the ward received such a donation.
Ayilara described Adepoju as a committed member of the party who had consistently shown concern for members of the ward.
He said, “It is decades since something like this was presented to the ward in general. We appreciate the kind gesture of Prince Badmus, who has always been there for all members of the party in Ward 08.”
The beneficiaries expressed joy over the gesture and prayed for the success of Adepoju in his political endeavours.
They also pledged their continued support for the APM and called for unity among party members ahead of the forthcoming elections.
