Hon. Niyi Adeagbo, former Chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government, has wished Muslims in the area a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.
In a statement released to mark the beginning of the holy month, Hon. Adeagbo urged Muslims to seize the opportunity of Ramadan to reflect on their lives, seek forgiveness, and strengthen their bond with Allah.

He also encouraged Muslims to use the period to engage in acts of charity, kindness, and compassion towards the less privileged.
Hon. Adeagbo’s message was filled with goodwill and solidarity, as he prayed for Allah’s blessings and protection upon the Muslim community during the holy month.
The former council chairman’s gesture is seen as a demonstration of his commitment to promoting interfaith harmony and unity among the people of Itesiwaju.
The statement reads:
“As we welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, I greet you all with peace and blessings. Ramadan is a time of reflection, devotion, and unity—a season for acts of kindness, charity, and drawing closer to the infinite mercy of Almighty Allah.
Let us seize this opportunity to forgive one another, support the less privileged, and strengthen the bonds of love and harmony in our community. May our fasting, prayers, and good deeds be accepted, and may the light of Ramadan illuminate our hearts and homes with peace.
“Together, let us strive to embody the teachings of Islam by embracing patience, compassion, and humility. May Allah (SWT) bless the great people of Itesiwaju, Oke-Ogun, Oyo State, and all of Nigeria with prosperity, unity, and countless blessings”.
