Okere Mourns Passing of Coach Kenny, Describes him as Patriot

The Okere of Sakiland, Oba Khalid Oyeniyi Olabisi Oyedepo III, has expressed profound sorrow over the death of Hon. Kehinde Adewuyi Adetola, widely known as Coach Kenny, describing the late community leader as a patriot, mentor, and dedicated servant of humanity.

In a statement issued by the Palace Media on Saturday, the monarch said the news of Coach Kenny’s passing was received with deep sadness across Sakiland, noting that the deceased left behind a remarkable legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to youth development.

Oba Oyedepo described Coach Kenny as a distinguished sports administrator and community leader whose passion for nurturing young talents and promoting physical fitness positively impacted countless lives within and beyond Sakiland.

According to the royal father, the late Coach Kenny devoted much of his life to mentoring young people and encouraging healthy living among residents, earning him widespread admiration and respect from all segments of society.

“Coach Kenny was a dear friend of Saki and a man whose compassion, dedication, and selfless service touched many lives. His contributions to sports development and community growth will remain an enduring source of inspiration for future generations,” the monarch stated.

The Okere further noted that the deceased’s unwavering commitment to public service and human development distinguished him as a respected figure whose influence extended far beyond the sporting community.
