The remains of late Barr. Isaac Omodewu, the chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has arrived his hometown, Otu, Itesiwaju LGA.
The late chairman’s body was airlifted from the United States of America to Lagos, where it was received by family, a delegation of party leaders on Thursday.

As the body arrived on Friday, emotions ran high as mourners struggled to hold back tears.
Omodewu passed away on August 19th in the United States of America after a brief illness at the age of 61 years.
Omodewu’s passing has left a void in the Oyo APC family, and his colleagues and friends are still grappling with the reality of his demise.
The late chairman was a respected figure in Oyo state politics, known for his dedication and commitment to the APC.
The body of the late APC chairman is at present in Otu for funeral service at First Baptist Church, Otu, Itesiwaju LGA.
APC Party leaders, government officials , friends and relatives of the deceased are on ground for the funeral rites, which is a celebration of Omodewu’s life and legacy.
Dignitaries as at press time include former Deputy Governors, Otunba Alake Adeyem, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, Reps. member, Hon. Kareem Tajudeen Abisodun ,former NCC chairman, Prof. Adeolu Akande, former Head of service, Hannah Ogunesan ,Bimbo Kolade .
Others at the event are Senator Fatai Buhari, Sen. Teslim Folarin,Sen. Sarafadeen Abiodun Ali and Sen. Yunus Akintunde
