Former Oyo State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 election, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, has endorsed Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli as the party’s candidate for the 2027 governorship election.
The endorsement was made at Folarin’s residence on Kobiowu Crescent, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The development is expected to douse speculations over Folarin’s alleged displeasure with Alli’s governorship ambition ahead of the 2027 general election.
The endorsement is also seen as a significant development within the Oyo State APC as the party intensifies efforts to consolidate its ranks ahead of the next governorship election.
