The FCT Coordinator of the Nigerian Youth Alliance for Tinubu (NYAT), Muhammad Dauda, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as significant investments and policy interventions aimed at improving the lives of Nigerian youths, students and citizens across the country.
Dauda, while highlighting the achievements of the Tinubu administration, particularly commended the establishment and funding of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), saying the initiative has provided valuable support to students facing financial difficulties. According to him, the programme has helped many Nigerian students meet tuition and other educational expenses, thereby giving more young people the opportunity to pursue higher education without being forced to abandon their studies because of financial constraints.
The FCT Coordinator also noted what he described as improvements in the education sector, saying Nigerian students are increasingly able to concentrate on their academic pursuits without the prolonged disruptions associated with strikes. He maintained that the administration’s efforts to address challenges in the education sector demonstrate its commitment to creating a more stable and accessible educational system for Nigerian youths.
Dauda further praised the Federal Government’s investment in road infrastructure, stressing that good roads remain critical to economic development. He said improved road networks would enhance transportation, facilitate the movement of people and goods, connect communities and markets, and create a more favourable environment for businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive.
On the economy, the NYAT coordinator said the Tinubu administration had embarked on difficult but necessary reforms aimed at repositioning and strengthening Nigeria’s economy. While acknowledging the challenges associated with economic reforms, he expressed optimism that the measures would ultimately create a stronger foundation for sustainable economic growth, investment, employment and greater opportunities for young Nigerians.
The Nigerian Youth Alliance for Tinubu (NYAT), established and officially registered with the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat in 2022, is a youth-driven progressive support group with structures across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The organisation is committed to promoting youth participation in governance, leadership development, grassroots mobilisation and national development, while supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Dauda reaffirmed NYAT’s commitment to constructive engagement, peaceful mobilisation and continued advocacy for policies and programmes that promote education, youth empowerment, economic development, peace and good governance.
