•••attends Funeral Service of Engr. Olufemi Alao’s Mother in Saki

The member representing Irepo/Olorunsogo/Oorelope Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olaide Muhammed, popularly known as Polam, on Saturday attended the funeral service of the late mother of Kishi-born civil engineer, Engr. Olufemi Alao, in Saki, where he also called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain united ahead of future political engagements.
The funeral service was held at the First Baptist Church, Oke-Adagba, Saki, with family members, political associates, community leaders and well-wishers gathering to celebrate the life and legacy of the deceased.
A reception followed at the Harmony Event Centre, Saki, where tributes continued to pour in for the late matriarch, whose exemplary life and devotion to family and community were widely acknowledged.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Hon. Muhammed expressed his heartfelt condolences to Engr. Olufemi Alao and the entire Alao family over the loss of their beloved mother. He prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and asked God to grant the bereaved family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The federal lawmaker also seized the opportunity to appeal to members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain steadfast, united and loyal to the party. He stressed that internal cohesion, mutual respect and unwavering commitment to the party’s ideals were indispensable to its continued growth and electoral success.
According to him, party faithful should place the collective interest of the APC above personal ambitions and work together to foster unity, peace and harmony for the overall benefit of the party and its members.
