A chieftain of the Accord Party, Prince Amusat Taoheed Oladoke, has declared his intention to contest for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat representing Atisbo/Saki East State Constituency.
Oladoke disclosed that the chairmen of the Accord Party in Atisbo and Saki East Local Government Areas obtained and presented the nomination form to him on Tuesday, May 6, 2026, to formally back his ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said the gesture by party leaders reaffirmed their confidence in his aspiration to serve the constituency at the state legislature.
In a statement, Oladoke dedicated the political step to Almighty Allah, whom he described as the ultimate sustainer of life, as well as to individuals who supported him financially during a recent period of ill health.
He expressed gratitude to those who contributed either voluntarily or upon his request, noting that their support made it easier for him to secure the nomination form.
According to him, his political agenda is straightforward and centred on service delivery if elected.
“My agenda is simple and clear: if Allah grants me this opportunity, I will strive to do good in all aspects of life and serve humanity to the best of my ability,” he said.
Oladoke also appreciated his supporters and well-wishers, praying for continued success and prosperity in their lives.
“Once again, I sincerely appreciate and thank everyone for this success. May every one of you continue to excel and prosper in life,” he added.
