Oroyinyin Emerges as Vice Chairman of Oyo State Muslim Community

Former Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Lawal Sulaiman Oroyinyin, has emerged as the vice chairman of the Muslim Community, Oyo State.

Oroyinyin, a prominent indigene of Saki West Local Government Area, was inaugurated into the position amid commendations for his leadership experience and contributions to the development of the community.

His emergence is expected to bring his wealth of experience as a retired senior police officer to bear on efforts to promote unity, peaceful coexistence and the welfare of Muslims across the state.

Oroyinyin served in the Nigeria Police Force before retiring as a Commissioner of Police. His career was marked by years of service in maintaining law and order and contributing to public safety.

His appointment to the leadership position has also been described as an opportunity for him to deploy his experience and leadership qualities to further strengthen collaboration and peaceful coexistence among Muslims in Oyo State.

He is expected to work with other members of the leadership to advance the interests of the Muslim Ummah and support initiatives aimed at promoting peace, unity and development across the state.
